'Turning Tables' was created by young people in Newcastle.
The d'n'a Service asked young people to come together to talk about their views on drugs. They wanted to create a resource for drugs education that was relevant to them and their lives. Fundraising, scripting, editing and production were all led by the young people. The result is a resource that focuses on issues they wanted to explore.
The film features many young people from Newcastle interviewed on the streets about their views on drugs. It follows the true story of Dave and his journey into and out of heroin use, raising many questions and issues on the way.
